WEIGHT OF LOVE

WEIGHT OF LOVE

OH TO THE NAVÏETÉ

IN ME

OH TO THE FICKLE

YOUTH

I WAS

THOSE MOMENTS

I WILL

SWALLOW

WITH GRACE

AND

THE SACRED

SILENCE

OF

MY GOLDEN

DREAMS

ELECTRIFIED

FROM THE

LIGHTNING

OF THAT

NIGHT

IT SET ME ALIVE

WITH A FIRE

THAT CARRIES

ON

AND

ON

WHERE MY

LONG LOST HEART

COULD WALK

FREE

FINALLY

OH TO THE

STILLNESS

OF THAT

MOMENT

THE STARE

THE SPARKLE

THE GLOW

IN THE

NIGHT AIR

ALL THE EMOTIONS

SWIMMING

AROUND

IN MY HEAD

FROM

YOUR SMILE

TO MINE

SWEET

DARK

AND KNOW THIS

FOOL

CALLS OUT

REMEMBER

HELLO

AGAIN

OH TO THE

SINS

I NEVER GET

TO FEEL

OR SHARE

ONLY

IN THIS

MEMORY

ON THE EDGE

IN THE BEGGING

OF MY

WEIGHT

OF LOVE

OH THAT

LOOK

IN MY EYES

AS I LOOK

IN THE MIRROR

THE WRINKLES

NOW STRONGER

MARKS

OF AGE

SCREAMING

OUT FROM

THEN

TO NOW

LET YOU KNOW

I AM OK

KEEPING THIS

NOW...

FOLDED

TORN

BLED DRY

RIPPED

SEWN

SHATTERED

GLUED

PIECES

BACK TOGETHER

OF MY

HEART

IN MY BACK

POCKET

HELD BY YOUR

CLAWS

TILL ALL THAT'S

LEFT

IS

ASHES AND DUST.
