YIN-YANG BATH

YIN – YANG BATH

DESPITE KNOWING

THOUGHTS I SHOULD

HATE FLEET AWAY

AS MY HEART RAN

COLD FROM IT ALL

DOWN INTO DARKNESS

I LET IT TAKE ME

FARTHER AND FARTHER

WITH A JUDGMENT

PASSED DOWN

LEFT ITS MARK

TO TAKE JUSTICE AWAY

SCARS STRIKE DEEP

INTO THE DEPTHS

OF THAT WHICH I

WAS SO USED BY

IN EVERYTHING

SO GATHERED ALL

WITHIN ME

TO FIGHT DAY IN

AND DAY OUT

OVER ALL

THAT HAS BEEN LOST

THE COST ISN'T

YET FELT

BUT OH SO

SENSED

TO THE FUTURE

OF WHERE THINGS

SHOULD COME

FROM PAST REPEATING

AND THAT SAME

MYRK CARRYING ON

AND ON

TEARS THAT FALL

ARE NOT OF JUST

MY SORROWS

BUT OF THE SOULS

OF ALL

THRICE CURSED

THRICE LOST

ALWAYS

MISTAKEN

PUSHING IT ALL FROM ME

LIKE A HORRIBLE

NIGHTMARE

THAT WON’T ERASE

THIS

OH THE LIFE'S SCREAMS

FOR ALL

THAT IS SO OH SO WRONG

ONLY TRUTH

AND FAITH

WILL CARRY ON

LIKE AUTUMN LEAVES

BLOWING AWAY

DOWN THE ENDLESS

STREETS

LANDING ON THE OLD

STONE WALL

AS ICE FROZEN OVER

THE WATERFALL

THAT FLOWS

BENEATH ETERNALLY

CONSTANT

FOR I WAS LEFT

TO ENDURE

SILENT RINGING

OFF THAT DRAGON

RIDDEN ENCIRCLED

THE RED

LIKE FLAMES

SETTING TO THE SUN

TO BE BLACKEN

WE ALL

WATCH IT UNFOLD

NOW I RESIST

AND RESET

WITH LESS OF A SMILE

FADED INTO

THE BACKGROUND

CARRYING

ALWAYS

LOVES

HARSH

WAKE

IN MY HEART

AND

SLUMBER

BECKONS

TO SLEEP

THE NOW

BROKEN

WING.
